When changing a radiator is is important that the job is undertaken by a trained plumber, or engineers are familiar with any and all central heating systems so are able to drain down and alter any pipework where necessary (if the customer requires the radiator position to be changed or a different size radiator to be installed).

Changing 7 Radiators in Gillingham

We received a call from a home owner in Gillingham asking us to change 7 radiator for them, we quickly measured up the rooms and priced the job fairly. We were able to start the job within a week as the old radiators were still working but the customer wanted a more efficient system due to rising energy prices so there was no urgency. We began by power flushing the existing system and radiators removing all the magnetite in the system, the reason we power flush before the new radiators are installed is so we don't flush all the magnetite through the new radiators. Once the thorough power flush was completed we drained the system and removed all the old radiators. We changed all the valves and altered the pipework where necessary. Next, we installed the new radiators ensuring all connections where tightened correctly and then filled the heating system ensuring to bleed all the new radiators. Finally, we added inhibitor to the system and tested it thoroughly.
